Daniel Matsunaga was hailed Big Winner with 11.69 percent of votes from the public after deducting 'votes to evict' from 'votes to save.
With 3.1 percent of votes, Maris came in second. Jane Oineza with -.73 percent was the third placer and Vickie Rushton came in fourth place with -.78 percent.
Daniel said he became the winner because & "mahal na mahal kayo." He also said he is more Filipino than some Filipinos who are not proud to be one. "I am a true Filipino," said a crying Daniel.
The dashing Big Winner said God told him he has a purpose here in the Philippines and he said his being the Big Winner is the fulfillment of that purpose.
Vickie was met on stage by her family and celebrity beau Jason Abalos. Jane sobbed and said she learned to have faith in herself in Kuya's house and said she believes patience is all that's needed for one's dreams to come true. She also thanked her supporters.
2nd Big Placer Maris advised the people to dream big. Daniel, who doesn't like crying in front of people, openly cried when he was announced the Big Winner. He was met by his Mommy Geralda and sister Vanessa.
