Blindfolded Nik Wallenda Walks a Tightrope Over The Chicago River, Live on TV

Highwire artist Nik Wallenda took on his toughest challenge yet. Nik Wallenda, a tightrope daredevil, broke 2 World Records in walk between Chicago Skyscrapers on live television Sunday.

Wallenda, known as a seventh-generation performer, reportedly first walked across the Chicago River on a rope strung between the Marina City west tower and the Leo Burnett Building in Chicago.

At a height of 588 feet, Wallenda started to stride upward at a 19-degree angle, rising 83 feet and setting the record for the steepest tightrope walk according to usatoday.com
